The phrase “all-inclusive” carries a specific set of associations for most travelers: a wristband, a buffet, a swim-up bar, and a mental calculation about whether you are eating and drinking enough to justify the rate. That model has its place. Mandla, our boutique resort on Nicaragua’s Pacific coast, is not that place.
When we say all-inclusive, we mean something smaller and more considered: everything that makes a week here work is already taken care of. You arrive, you settle in, and you do not think about logistics, line items, or hidden charges for the rest of your stay. The thinking has been done. Your job is to be here.
What’s Included at This All-Inclusive Boutique Resort in Nicaragua
Your casita. Private, ensuite accommodations in one of eight oceanfront casitas. Each has its own bathroom, comfortable beds, ceiling fans, and a view of either the ocean or the garden. Linens and towels are provided and refreshed regularly.
Three meals a day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by the on-site kitchen using local ingredients, fresh seafood, and seasonal produce. Meals are served family-style at the communal rancho, and the menu rotates daily. Dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated: communicate them before arrival and the kitchen will plan accordingly.
The property. Full use of the common areas: the oceanfront pool, the rancho, the yoga deck, the hammocks, the beach access, and whatever quiet corner you find that no one else has found yet. During a full-property buyout, these spaces are exclusively yours.
Drinking water and non-alcoholic beverages. Coffee, tea, fresh juices, and water are available throughout the day.
Airport transfers. Round-trip transportation between Managua’s Augusto C. Sandino International Airport and the property, typically arranged as a private vehicle for individuals or a shared shuttle for groups arriving on the same flight.
What Is Not Included
Alcohol. House beer and basic spirits are available at the property at modest prices. Premium selections, wine, or specialized cocktails can be arranged in advance. For buyout groups, an open bar package is available and priced separately.
Experiences. Surf guiding, horseback rides, volcano excursions, fishing trips, boat charters, and private yoga instruction are available through our local network and priced individually. These are arranged by the guest services team, typically with a day’s notice. See all available experiences →
Spa and massage. Available by appointment with visiting practitioners. Priced per session.
Specialized event services. Wedding coordination, custom catering for events, decor, photography, live music, and similar services are arranged on a per-event basis.
Why a Boutique All-Inclusive Model Works Differently
The all-inclusive model at this boutique resort in Nicaragua is intentional. We include the things that every guest needs (shelter, food, water, and transport) so that the baseline experience requires no decision-making after booking. The things that vary by guest (a fishing trip one person wants, a horseback ride another requests, a bottle of wine a third prefers) are kept separate because bundling them into a flat rate would either raise the price for everyone or dilute the quality of each experience.
The result is a rate that reflects the actual cost of housing and feeding you well in a beautiful place, without inflating it with activities you may not want or alcohol you may not drink. Guests who want a quiet week of surf and reading pay for exactly that. Guests who want a full itinerary of experiences pay for those as they choose them. Both groups feel they are getting fair value because they are.
Pricing Transparency at an All-Inclusive Boutique Resort in Nicaragua
There are no resort fees. No service charges added at checkout. No mandatory gratuity line items. The rate you are quoted is the rate you pay. Experiences and extras are quoted in advance with clear pricing. Tips for staff are appreciated but never expected and never added automatically.
This level of transparency is uncommon in the all-inclusive hospitality space, particularly at boutique resorts in Nicaragua, and we maintain it deliberately. The goal is that when you leave Mandla, you feel you paid a fair price for an excellent experience, not that you were nickel-and-dimed for things that should have been included, or that you overpaid for things you did not use.
